What Kind of Nurse are You?

When we hear the media talk about the nursing shortage, the public often just sees the shortage - and not the nurses behind the shortage. The truth is, there are many different areas of nursing that are feeling the crunch.

For this series, we’re going to delve into some of the different types of nurses, what they do and what kind of education you need to ‘make the grade.’

Types we’ll look at:

  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
  • Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)
  • Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

In addition, we’ll talk about Master’s Degrees in nursing as well as Bachelor’s Degrees, how to get a degree online, and how to pay for what can be a very expensive education in nursing.
