Molokai Healthcare Spotlight: Molokai General Hospital
Molokai General Hospital (MGH) is a 30-bed healthcare facility operating under The Queen’s Medical Center that houses the only emergency room and urgent care clinic for the 7,000 residents and visitors on Molokai. The hospital provides acute, long-term care, as well as low-risk obstetrical inpatient services. MGH also offers kidney health, diabetes management services, preventive health, high-risk weight management, hospice services, family planning and family support services on an outpatient basis. Many of the hospital’s preventive services to the island of Molokai are offered in partnership with Na Puuwai, the native Hawaiian health care system.

I never took an assignment in Hawaii, but I have visited there and there is the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen! There is so much to see it would be well worth doing an assignment there if you get a chance to.
