Might Want Items For Travel Nurses

If you’re just starting out as a travel nurse, you may want to keep things simple and travel as light as possible, bringing only those things that you know you’ll absolutely need for your assignment.

Otherwise, there are some ‘creature comforts’ that many travel nurses simply can’t live without. These can include:

  • Towels, sheets, shower curtain/rod
  • Dishes, silverware, pots and pans (although these are easy to find at a thrift store or Wal-Mart)
  • TV, DVD player
  • Paper shredder (although your work scissors would work, too)
  • Sporting equipment, bicycle

Again, many travel nurses just starting out in their careers may find it easier to travel light and focus on their assignments. But, once you get into the ‘groove’ of the travel nurse lifestyle, you may find you want to take that extra time to enjoy life on the road and make the most of the experience.
